Airy rooms with a washing machine, nice views, as example, we relaxed well. The location quite a walk from an eco friendly and fair trade gallery was good and perfect. Emma made everything for all of us.

Wonderful host, brilliant small studio flat. Inside everything you need for a weekend stay. Flat was nice and clean, things for breakfast left in the fridge, plus some additional stuff. Very quiet area, close to parks and shops. Good communication to Carlisle and Edinburgh. Wonderful surroundings for visiting Scottish Borders.
Narrow spiral staircase difficult for someone with mobility issues. But since I didn't inform the host in advance, it wasn't their fault and I managed it slowly anyway.

Loved the view of the garden while enjoying the free WiFi. Went hiking nearby, felt so adventurous. Breakfast choices were absolutely fabulous!
Oh, how I missed having a grand staircase and giant bath towels. What a tragedy.

The value for money at Hill View Studio was excellent, with a spacious and airy room that exceeded my expectations. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location provided a nice view over rooftops to trees.
The breakfast could be improved with the addition of a roller blind on the window above the bed, as the daylight woke me up.

The studio was well-equipped with everything we needed for a self-catering experience. the host was friendly and left a nice array of food for breakfast. the location was great, being close to the town center and within walking distance of shops and restaurants.
One of the main issues we had was the lack of handrail on the stairs leading up to the studio. It felt quite dangerous, especially when we were carrying our luggage or shopping.

We loved our romantic escape! The apartment was spacious, well-lit, and had everything we needed. The fully equipped kitchen and quality breakfast supplies were a great touch. The location was ideal, with easy access to hill walking and exploring both Scotland and Northern England. The cleanliness and attention to detail were impressive, making us feel comfortable and at-home. The helpful owner was quick to respond to any questions we had. a perfect getaway for couples looking for a cozy and convenient stay.
The only minor drawback was the parking situation, as it was first-come, first-served on a shared street. However, there was a free car park around the corner that we could use if needed.
